Command Palette

Press Ctrl+K (Windows/Linux) or Cmd+K (macOS) to open the command palette.

Using the Command Palette

  1. Press Ctrl+K to open
  2. Type to search for commands
  3. Use Up and Down to navigate
  4. Press Enter to execute
  5. Press Esc to close

  • upload - Upload a new workbook
  • recalculate - Recalculate current workbook
  • compliance - Run compliance tests
  • settings - Open settings
  • help - Open documentation

Custom keyboard shortcuts are planned for a future release. Currently, only the default shortcuts are available.


Tips for Power Users

Efficient Navigation

  1. Use Ctrl+K (command palette) for any action
  2. Memorize the ++alt+number++ shortcuts for main sections
  3. Use Tab and Shift+Tab to move between elements

Fast Data Entry

  1. Use Tab to move right after editing
  2. Use Enter to move down after editing
  3. Use F4 to toggle reference types while selecting
  4. Use Ctrl+D to fill down from selected cell

Workflow Optimization

  1. Ctrl+S frequently to save work
  2. Ctrl+Shift+R to recalculate after changes
  3. Esc to cancel any operation
  4. ? when you forget a shortcut

Troubleshooting Shortcuts

Shortcuts Not Working?

  1. Check focus - Click inside the application
  2. Check browser - Some shortcuts may conflict with browser shortcuts
  3. Check OS - Some shortcuts may conflict with OS shortcuts
  4. Check extensions - Browser extensions may intercept shortcuts

Common Conflicts

Conflict Solution
Browser intercepts Ctrl+S CalcBridge auto-saves; use anyway
OS intercepts Cmd+Space Use Ctrl+K for search instead
Extension intercepts shortcut Disable extension or use command palette
